“Having lived and worked in over 130 countries, one of my greatest passions in life is travel. Experiencing other cultures, meeting new people, encountering wildlife on land and underwater, experiencing the beauty and sometimes ugliness of the world has helped me understand all of our lives are interconnected, yet very individual,” says Heidi Finn, Broker/Owner of Urban Luxe Real Estate.
“I’ve swam in pods of humpback whales that were so close I could touch (Kingdom of Tonga). I’ve dropped into schools of hammerhead sharks (Galapagos, Costa Rica) and pods of dolphin (Bahamas, Australia, Belize). I’ve played with cuttle fish (Fiji, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea) and had the tiniest of seahorses curl around my little finger (Sulawesi, Red Sea, Maldives). I’ve trekked up the Amazon, down the Nile, traveled across Russia on the Tran-Siberian Express and ridden 125 miles across the Serengeti on horseback (Tanzania). We absolutely have to protect the spectacular but vulnerable very places, creatures and animal species we can’t afford to loose.”
Urban Luxe Real Estate tirelessly supports Conservation International, a global organization working to address key issues like climate change, vanishing species, threatened cultures, poaching, endangered wildlife and environments. Their mission is to conserve the Earth’s living heritage — our global biodiversity — and to demonstrate that human societies are able to live harmoniously with nature.
