The Ice House Lofts
No doubt about it, The Ice House Lofts is one of Denver’s oldest and coolest buildings; literally! Originally built to house blocks of ice used in refrigeration, the building is also well known for the skillful masonry work in its brick exterior and was added to the National Historic Register in 1985.
The Ice House Lofts have become such a desirable place to live not only for its location but for its conversion to lofts in 1998. It has stayed true to a traditional loft-style with sought after features as exposed original brick walls, exposed ductwork, original arch windows, and heavy timbers.
Now, location, location, location. The Ice House Lofts are directly across for the newly renovated Union Station with access to Denver’s finest restaurants, shops and bars directly out the front door. And, with it’s proximity to Union Station, residents will be able to walk across the street to catch the train to DIA airport.
The Ice House Lofts are where modern style merges with history!
