Cheesman Park

Known as one of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, Cheesman Park boasts grand mansions that were originally developed for the city’s wealthiest of patrons.

Since then, added high rises around the park and the conversion of mansions to apartments, have helped it become a high population neighborhood with the park at the center of it all. If you’re passionate about dogs, Cheesman Park has a reputation of being a very dog-friendly neighborhood complete with one of Denver’s only ‘off-leash’ dog parks, Josephine Gardens, located on Josephine St and Colfax Ave
