CENTRAL PLATTE VALLEY
Once a major rail yard, the redevelopment of the Central Platte Valley was initiated in the late 1980s. It wasn’t until the late 1990s the Riverfront Park Project established what is now the most vibrant mix-use districts in Denver. The 30 acre Commons Park is at the center of it all and draws the young professional, residents ready to retire and anyone else who can imagine having the biggest back yard and ZERO yard work.
LODO
Established officially in 1988, Lower Downtown or “Lodo” as it is typically referred, is a thriving 25 square block neighborhood in Denver’s principal historic district. With over 100 restaurants and clubs and home to many professional, service and retail businesses, Downtown Lodo’s mix-use neighborhood is attractive to all.
