Hilltop

Hilltop Neighborhood Highlights

Original development of Hilltop had much more to do with water and transportation than anything else. The City Lateral Canal, branching off the Highline Canal, established a secure water source for the area and the streetcar line secured transportation in the area. Development of  the Hilltop neighborhood soon followed.

Not only is ‘Hill’ top one of the highest points in Denver but it’s also considered one of the wealthiest and most sought after neighborhoods. Large lots and abundant tree-lined streets accentuate the beautiful Tudor, Georgians and two-story Colonials. New builds have come and you can clearly identify the luxurious custom homes with large lots that dot the neighborhood.

Securing the neighborhood is the 23-acre Cranmer Park. With sweeping views of the skyline and Front Range, Cranmer is well-known for the large stone sundial installation on the west side of the park.

Although just one square mile and oftentimes lumped in as part of the Crestmoor neighborhood, Hilltop has its own distinction and characteristics that make it such a desirable place to call home.
