Platt Park was originally established in 1886 as part of the incorporated town of South Denver which was formed to limit the number of bars and roadhouses that where encroaching upon the area directly from Downtown.
Today, gorgeous trees (some over 100 years old) line the neighborhood streets and the Victorian, Bungalow, Tudor and Denver Square architecture make this one of the most charming areas in Denver. These beautiful old homes with great character are certainly a draw for restoration.
